Today’s food-related document comes from the Records of the War Relocation Authority. Dorothea Lange took this photograph of a Japanese-American evacuee in her hobby garden at Manzanar. Professional photographers, including Dorothea Lange, were commissioned by the WRA to document the daily life and treatment of Japanese-Americans during World War II.
